LOCATION: Glacier National Park
SUBJECT: A tall, sturdy fellow about 55 yrs old, with the kind of outfit that made you want to be a Park Ranger when you were a kid. We'll call him John. He has long, thick white hair and a heavy but trimmed white beard. He builds his own canoes - that's right - by hand, which he keeps stored away in his "backyard" a.k.a campsite. He lives out here, in this particular campsite where NO ONE has wanted to stay for more than a night or two. Because - THEY CANT KEEP THE GRIZZLIES OUT. Now that's a Montana Mountain Man.
